Craft Fair Advertising: Free Social Media Ad Template

You will need to advertise in print and online for your craft fair if you really want to bring in traffic. It helps to have an ad that you can print and use across social media. We reformatted our print postcard for Instagram and Facebook by squaring it off and making the colors as bold as possible. This was also one of the reasons we asked our vendors (neighbors) for images of their work up to a month beforehand, so that we could use their images, and not stock photos, to create an authentic ad that shared what we would be selling at the craft fair.

The photos you receive don’t have to be perfect, but you do want them to be eye catching in miniature, since they will be showing up as a fairly small image on your customers’ phone apps. You can crop them in a photo editing software to eliminate extra background, and to get close-ups. The images will be much more appealing if you feature close-up details. You can also brighten the colors to make the images stand out. In our example, we made sure to feature several different products that had a lot of color, as well as our vendors’ mouthwatering tamales and cookies.

Below, you can click on our social media ad template. Canva makes it easy to adjust the text and change out the images as needed. Follow the instruction on the first page, then delete the pages you don’t need, including the instruction page, and download the ad to use! Good luck with your craft fair advertising!
