It’s time to get the word out to your neighbors to find potential vendors for your craft fair! If you already know many of your neighbors, you might have emails or other contacts for them, and can send this flyer digitally if you would like! I only new a couple of my neighbors so I went door-to-door to put a flier on every doorstep. It was a great way to meet many of my neighbors, and also get some steps in! I left the flyer rolled up in door handles or lying under mats if no one was home, which made the task go quickly. 

You will want to choose a date beforehand so that you can have all the information on the flyer. Then add a few details about what you expect from the day and include a few of the items you and your friends plan to sell.

Something to note here is that it might take a couple of rounds to generate responses. People get busy and often wait until the last minute to participate. I sent around a couple of flyers with slightly different wording each time. I included a QR code to our form to fill out about what they might want to sell. 

We have created a flyer template with a couple of theme options. We’ve also made “tech savvy” versions and “non-tech savvy.” Those who want to include a QR code can try out the tech savvy version, or if you don’t want to go that route, you can just include an email on your flier. We have options for both in the template below!
